Gevey: Morphology: Locus of Marking in the Clause: Dependent marking
Gevey verbs are required to agree with the 'status' and number of their subjects, but not their direct objects; subjects (agents and experiencers) and direct objects (patients) are overtly marked - subjects take suffixes while direct objects are preceded by an accusative marker word.
