There are affirmative indefinite pronouns ('all', 'some') but no negative ones. Where one would otherwise use a negative indefinite pronoun, ŋarâþ crîþ uses affirmative indefinite pronouns plus the appropriate negative construction (e.g. 'no one went' -> 'everyone refrained from going').
